“Why am I so miserable?” - the new edition 2015
The career of Ton Steine Scherben only lasted 15 years, but the German rockers led by charismatic singer Rio Reiser set new standards with their socially critical music in the 1970s.
45 years after their formation, music lovers and fans of the Scherben now have the opportunity to once again take a comprehensive look at the musical work of the Berlin collective. All studio albums and three live albums will be reissued in 2015, including “Warum geht es mir so dreckig?”. The first Ton Steine Scherben album was originally released in 1971 and is now available again on CD and LP.
In addition to “Warum geht es mir so dreckig?”, the albums “Keine Macht für Niemand”, “Wenn die Nacht am tiefsten ...” (two CDs), “IV” (two CDs), “Scherben”, “Live I - In Berlin 1984”, “Live II” and “Live III” will also be re-released.
In addition, all albums will be released in a high-quality limited collector's box: “Ton Steine Scherben: Complete Works (Limited Edition)”. In addition to all the albums, this includes further singles, demos and rarities, remixed versions of the last two studio albums as well as a detailed booklet with information about the creation of the box and liner notes by Scherben guitarist R.P.S. Lanrue.
